HELLO! I am Beatrix
I’m a photographer based in Uppsala, Sweden, with a speciality in capturing the true essence of individuals through portraits.
I didn't begin my career journey with photography; it started with working at the Swedish embassy in my home town (how I met my Swedish husband) and then in the corporate world of human resources- a career in strategic senior positions spanning countries and cultures for over a decade in a fashion retail and tech startup company.
Amidst my career, I found photography. When National Geographic featured one of my travel photos in one of their books in 2015, it ignited my passion, leading me to develop my skills through courses, workshops, and self-taught.
It's clear to me now how my previous experiences of closely collaborating with creative talents and executives effortlessly align with my current purpose: helping businesses with personalized portraits telling their stories.
I strive to create natural and authentic photos, and I love to capture candid moments. Those spontaneous moments are often the best images; they are gold because you can't recreate them. My inspiration frequently stems from my deep appreciation for documentary photography and interior magazines.
When I am not behind the camera, you'll find me cycling in the city, flipping pages of interior magazines in the coffee shop or the kitchen, trying Indonesian (my home country) and different recipes while chatting with loved ones.
